Tchouameni and Camavinga didn’t give what the manager expected as it was said that ‘the Real Madrid shirt weighs heavy’ on them.
Even though it was a tough game and Real Madrid trailed 1-0 at the half, they were able to defeat Almeria 2-1 on Sunday night and depart the southern region of Spain with a victory.
At that point, Carlo Ancelotti replaced Aurelien Tchouameni with Eduardo Camavinga in place of Luka Modric, who had just been signed.
When asked whether wearing the Real Madrid jersey during the game affected the young participants negatively, the Italian somewhat agreed.
The coach stated that the young players “earned to play because of what they are doing in training.”
But perhaps they felt a little emotional pressure from this game.
They didn’t perform to the level they had in training, but given their youth and the difficulty of donning this shirt, this is expected.
I only removed Camavinga because he had a yellow, not because of anything else.
The coach continued by considering the entire game.
He claimed, “We started the game poorly, as they discovered space in behind.
“That made the game challenging since they were adept at blocking off space.
“Despite having several shots, we had trouble scoring.
“They were more worn out in the second half, and we had more initiative and opportunities.
“To equalize, Lucas Vazquez performed admirably. He constantly exhibits the proper energy and attitude while remaining awake.”
Asensio’s future is updated by Ancelotti
The coach was questioned about Marco Asensio, who didn’t even warm up, at the Power Horse Stadium following the game.
Ancelotti declared, “He is a Real Madrid player as long as he is a Real Madrid player.
“We need to recall how effective he was the previous year.
Before August 31 anything could happen, but for the time being he is a crucial Real Madrid player.
