Thomas Muller picks between Lionel Messi, Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo.
When asked to choose between Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema during a Q&A session, Thomas Muller of Bayern Munich was recently featured on a video by ESPN.
Muller prefers Lewandowski despite the Pole’s move to Catalonia in the summer, and Muller is expected to play a significant role for Bayern Munich in the next Champions League match against Barcelona.
Muller and Lewandowski were teammates for eight years at Bayern Munich. A total of 344 goals were scored by him when he was a member of the team, and he and Muller formed a potent offensive tandem that helped Bayern continue to rule German football.
“Lewandowski or Benzema? When asked to select between the two, Muller responded, “I have to go for Lewandowski, although Benzema had a really fantastic season and he’s a very talented player.
The attacking midfielder for Bayern Munich was asked to pick between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Nevertheless, he opted for the latter this time, noting his dismal performance versus Ronaldo in European events.
Ronaldo or Messi? My choice is Ronaldo. I have a decent statistic versus Messi, but not so good against Ronaldo,” he continued.
Just one day before Bayern Munich’s eagerly anticipated Champions League matchup versus Barcelona, Thomas Muller made some remarks.
The German’s season has not gotten off to the best of beginnings, scoring just once in six Bundesliga games. But his knowledge, ingenuity, and intellect might be very useful in aiding Bayern Munich in dismantling the revamped Barça backline.
Lewandowski, a former teammate of his, has dominated La Liga and the UCL this season, scoring nine goals in six games. The Pole will play tonight’s match against Bayern Munich with the goal of continuing his outstanding run of play.
