Transfer: That’s my only target –Eden Hazard speaks on leaving Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has insisted he has no plans to leave the team this summer.
The 31-year-old claims that he is not considering a move to Major League Soccer (MLS).
With only 66 appearances and six goals since moving to Madrid from Chelsea three years ago, Hazard has had a miserable time.
The Belgian international, who is now healthy, claims that this campaign, his “only target” is catching up with Madrid.
I want to demonstrate to people my ability to play in this club.
“I haven’t played as much over the past few seasons, so for me… My only goal is to demonstrate my abilities on the field, Hazard told ESPN.
Hazard: “Rejecting offers to stay? I want to show that I can play for this club. That’s it. That’s my only reason.”
Hazard: “When you see us on the pitch, we look like a real team. When we’re 2-0 down, we never give up, we play until the end.”
Hazard: “I was happy for the fans, the club & players for the trophies but inside me I was like ‘Okay, I won trophies but I didn’t play that much so let’s show that I can play & we can win things with me.’”
