Chelsea earned the three points against Tottenham last night, but something occurred while the game was going on and it’s unacceptable. Though the club has taken an action about it and we’ll be looking into the situation.
Thomas Tuchel’s men are back to winning ways against Tottenham last night, the boys gave their all and it’s a performance to remember for the Chelsea fans. Thanks to the efforts from Harkim Ziyech and Thiago Silva.
While the game was going on, Antonio Rudiger noticed that the Tottenham fans were throwing objects into the pitch. That’s a very bad behavior shown by the away fans and it’s unacceptable.
The Chelsea defender picked one of the objects from the ground and he showed the referee. The object, aimed at him and this kind of thing might hurt a player. It seems like a sharp object and it will surely cause damage.
The blues are ahead in the second half when the incident occurred and we all know that the Chelsea fans won’t do this to their own player. According to reports, two people have been arrested after being caught by the camera.
Who Are These Two People?
The two people that were arrested are unknown and the club is yet to reveal their faces to the media. There’s a picture that showed one man with the same object hanging on his shirt.
The same object that was aimed at Antonio Rudiger. The German international picked it from the ground and let the referee know what was going on.
The Tottenham fans could be angry because the blues are ahead him the second half and they are still fighting to play Champions League football next season. The club appointed Antonio Conte as their new head coach after the departure of Nuno.
Looking at the picture below, you could see that there’s a man holding the same object that was aimed at Rudiger. I believe that he is one of the people that were arrested because the camera caught him.
The right thing to do is to caution the fans to be more careful and stop that act because it’s unacceptable. These people will never go unpublished because it will lead as an example for others.
They could be fined and also banned from the stadium for a year, that’s one of the best ways to handle the incident to avoid a repetition. We’ll wait for the final decision by the club, as they are still investigating.
Even if the London club are not performing well in the League, that doesn’t mean that the fans should misbehave due to frustration.
The Italian manager has tried his best to help the team, but he still needs a support from the Tottenham board during the winter or the summer transfer window. The club is currently monitoring Adama Traore.
Tottenham could be back to their best next season, but I believe that the manager still needs new players to strengthen the team. The Italian manager could turn things around next season.
