Two favourite clubs that could sign England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer.

As the midfielder continues to captivate onlookers with his performances at the highest level of football, the competition to sign him appears to be intensifying.

Most recently, the Borussia Dortmund starlet shone in England’s opening FIFA World Cup game of 2022, scoring the game’s first goal in a 6-2 victory over Iran. He was praised as one of the game’s best players.

Bellingham’s brilliant performances for club and country have elevated him to the top of the market, and Real Madrid and other top clubs in Europe are interested in signing him at the end of the current campaign.

Recent information from Matt Law (h/t Madrid Zone) indicates that Real Madrid and Liverpool are in the lead in the competition to sign Bellingham. But in addition to Manchester City, Chelsea has also entered the race for the 19-year-old.

The former Birmingham City starlet has most likely been identified by Real Madrid as a potential long-term replacement for Luka Modric, whose deal at the Santiago Bernabeu expires at the end of the current campaign.

In light of this, Bellingham might turn out to be a wise long-term investment for the team. The Englishman might even form a strong midfield alliance with other high-profile acquisitions like Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.

However, Borussia Dortmund will make it difficult for Los Blancos and any other interested parties in their pursuit of Bellingham.

Even though the German powerhouses are getting ready for his departure, it’s expected that they will demand a large sum of money in exchange for the Englishman’s services, especially given how much more in demand he is as time goes on.

Before the World Cup began, the young genius was in fact worth around €100 million. But it appears that by the end of the competition, his value may be closer to €150 million.
