UEFA president Ceferin sends a clear message to Real Madrid and La Liga president after the reports over Mbappe extension.
Kylian Mbappe signed a new contract with Paris Saint Germain a few days ago, as he turned down Real Madrid’s offer to sign an extension with the French club.
The La Liga president described it as a scandal and he claimed that it’s unacceptable as he issues a report to UEFA.
Paris Saint Germain could have been banned from all European competitions if the La Liga president succeeds with his report.
UEFA president Ceferin sends a clear warning
Ceferin: “Neither Real Madrid nor anyone else will tell UEFA what to do. They are outraged, from their point of view, but as far as I know their offer was the same as PSG’s for Kylian Mbappe.”
Ceferin on La Liga president’s criticism on PSG: “There are English clubs that are owned by Americans, owners from the Middle East, owners from England. So it’s exactly the same situation and I’m really tired of these accusations.”
Ceferin: “I said it before and I’ll say it again. Those who respect our rules are welcome in our competitions, those who do not respect them are not.”
