Unbelievable secret behind Barcelona’s reduced injuries this season -Report.
Rut Vilar recently provided an in-depth update on Barcelona’s training facility and the change in the club’s coaching tactics since the season’s beginning on Cat Radio.
The Spanish journalist has provided insight into the change in player management at Barcelona, both on and off the field. There has been a significant change, particularly in terms of the physical element, which has prevented many injuries thus far this season.
Vilar asserts that Barcelona has assigned three individuals the primary responsibility for injury prevention. Dr. Ricard Pruna, physical trainer Evan Torres, and physiotherapist Carlos Noguera are on the list.
There used to be a total of four physical therapists in Barcelona. However, the club currently employs seven physical therapists who are on call 24/7 to monitor the players’ development and fitness levels.
Barcelona players now spend the entire day at the club under the current system. One hour prior to training, at 9 AM, they are anticipated. They must have breakfast there and use the gym and preparation areas.
The Barcelona players are required to complete a refresher session with a physical trainer prior to any exercise. Before the training begins, this is done to locate any physical stress points.

In the event of any discomfort, the player in question is sent right away to Dr. Pruna, who then instructs Xavi to have the player withdraw from training.
Players can usually depart the facility at roughly 4 PM on regular days, but on matchdays, they typically stay inside and eat dinner with one another.
All of this has been crucial in establishing a routine and sense of discipline within the Barcelona camp.
In the end, it has resulted in fewer injuries, with Barça only suffering two knocks since the season’s start, both of which occurred outside the field of play and involved Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Barcelona board is focused on limiting injuries as much as possible because there are big games coming up in October. They recognize that maintaining team strength may be essential to keeping pressure on Real Madrid at the top.
