Xhaka at left-back against Brighton with Emile Smith Rowe starting the game as a midfielder while Nuno is on the bench.
Mikel Arteta’s wrong team selection caused Arsenal’s defeat at the Emirates stadium and it’s disappointing.
The club’s UEFA Champions League hope drains as Tottenham secured yet another three points.
It’s now a back-to-back defeat for the Gunners and I don’t think that the team will qualify for the UEFA Champions League tournament with this performance.
This is not the reaction that the fans wanted today, with Mikel Arteta’s team selection contributing to the defeat.

Xhaka at left-back against Brighton?
Mikel Arteta decided to start Nuno from the bench against Brighton after his poor display against Crystal Palace on Monday. It’s a wrong decision making by starting the Swiss midfielder from the left flank.
The Spanish manager could have started Nuno ahead of Xhaka despite that he had a bad game against Crystal Palace.
I believe that he will do better than Xhaka at the left flank.
Emile Smith Rowe started as a midfielder
Smith Rowe has proven himself in the premier league this season, but I don’t think that he started the game from his best position.
Pushing him into the midfield area is a wrong decision making, he should have started from the left wing and I believe that he will do better from that position.
He has created good chances and scored a lot of goals from that position this season.
Brighton fans chants Ben White, Ben White, what’s the score?
Arsenal signed him from Brighton last summer and the fans are chanting his name at the Emirates stadium this afternoon.
His side couldn’t secure a single point against his former club and the Brighton supporters chants his name by asking him of the score.
